How it works

50 US states. One sponsored owner each. Rank is the highest accumulated, verified Stripe payment for that state.

1. An empty state costs $5 to claim.
2. To take a claimed state you must exceed the current owner by at least $1.
3. Payments are cumulative. If you already bid $10, paying $2 more makes $12.
4. Ownership does not expire. There is no daily reset.
5. Ties do not flip ownership. You must go strictly ahead.
6. Another checkout may finish while you pay. Your dollars still add to your total; the map owner is whoever is ahead after Stripe confirms.

Listings are paid advertising. Links use rel="sponsored". Illegal, deceptive, or infringing listings can be suspended. Suspended brands drop off the visible owner slot; their paid totals stay in the audit trail.
